Description
Fairway View Neighborhoods Long Term Care seeks a Licensed Nurse (LPN) to work direct patient care in many capacities – observing, assessing, passing medications, and documenting information relating to the residents.
Duties Include
- Makes regular rounds observing resident condition, vital signs, assessing findings, planning resident nursing care, and recording pertinent information
- Accurately administers medications and treatment as prescribed by the physician. Instructs residents on their treatments and medications to promote resident understanding and continuity of care. - Provides necessary support to nursing assistants to ensure they are able to perform their work. Supervises care given by nursing assistants.
- Gives report of pertinent information to the next shift coming on duty. Keeps DON and Care Coordinators updated on resident status
- Serves as a role model for other nursing personnel.
- Part Time (32-60 hours per 2 week pay period) and Full Time (60 hours-72 per 2 week pay period)
- Evening (2pm - 10:30pm) or Overnight (10:15pm - 6:15am) shifts available
- Works every 3rd weekend, with 1 holiday rotation per year
- Eligible for evening ($1.50) and night ($3.00) shift differentials
