Job Description:

Seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to serve at Grace Home, Essentia Health’s long-term care facility in Graceville, Minnesota. This CNA works on a casual basis, picking up shifts as needed to support staffing needs at this location. Some weekends and holidays are required.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide direct care to skilled nursing facility residents and serve the needs of residents in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort within the scope of the nursing assistant role.
• Assist with personal hygiene care and providing for nutritional needs.
• Recognize and deal with the problems of the aging process and report changes in resident condition to shift nurse.
• Maintain a safe, clean, attractive, and neat environment for residents.
• Be aware of and prevent abuse of vulnerable adults and maintain safety awareness.
• Identify safety hazards and emergency situations and initiate corrective actions.

Qualifications:

• Must be certified as a nursing assistant, or must have completed or be currently enrolled in a CNA course, with the ability to be certified within 4 months.
