Are you tired of rushing from patient to patient? Are you looking for a nursing role where you have the time to care, connect, and truly make a difference?
The Meadows of Wadena is excited to be expanding our nursing team and is seeking a compassionate, dependable Staff Nurse (RN) to join our already-strong care team. This is a newly added position designed to strengthen our clinical support and ensure continued excellent care for our seniors.
You will work closely with a dedicated and collaborative care team to support our assisted living and memory care residents and uphold the high standards of care The Meadows of Wadena is known for.
The Staff Nurse works closely with our entire management team to accomplish:- New admissions and discharges.
- Order, prepare, and/or administer medications.
- Transcribe and assist with implementation of physician orders.
- Monitor resident health and respond to change in conditions appropriately.
- Assist with the training and supervision of direct care staff.
- The opportunity to truly get to know and develop meaningful relationships with the residents.
- A consistent and predictable work schedule that generally affords you with evenings, weekends, and holidays off. (This position does have shared on‑call responsibilities that are almost exclusively managed by phone.)

This position is 24-32 hours/week.
Wage: $34 - $38/hour DOQ
Our Staff Nurse must:- Genuinely care about and be committed to the well‑being of seniors in our care.
- Have a solid general nursing background, with geriatric experience preferred, but not required.
- Have good judgment, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
- Be dependable and able to work with minimal direct supervision once trained.
- Understand, read, write, and speak English.
- Be authorized by the State of Minnesota to work, unsupervised, with our residents as determined by a background study.
- Be a currently licensed RN in the State of Minnesota.
