RN or LPN - Long Term Care Day Shift

Overview

Seeking a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to serve at Grace Home, Essentia Health's long-term care facility in Graceville, Minnesota. This RN or LPN works 6:00 am to 6:30 pm, 36 hours weekly. Every third weekend and a holiday rotation are required.

• Education as required for licensure.

Responsible for organizing and providing care to residents through the process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Delegates aspects of care to other nursing personnel based upon their licensure, preparation, and job descriptions. Contributes to the meeting of the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia, and meets the requirements of the Joint Commission if applicable and/or other federal, state, and local regulatory or accrediting agencies.

RN ($36.69-$55.04 based on experience):

RN is responsible for organizing and providing care to residents through the nursing process, and may delegate tasks to other nursing personnel according to licensure and job descriptions.

LPN ($24.94-$37.41 based on experience):

A caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of primarily elderly patients for a designated time frame and provides care via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment/instrumentation, and collaboration with the health care team. Works cooperatively and independently, and can function effectively under stress.

• Current nursing licensure in the state of Minnesota upon hire.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 1 month of hire.

Compensation Range: $36.69 - $55.04 / hour
