Registered Nurse - RN - Bethany LTC - FT Evenings/Nights

Good Samaritan is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) in Lastrup, MN. This local opportunity is for a full‑time, 12‑hour evening shift (4 p.m.–4:30 a.m.) that totals 36 hours per week, including every third weekend and holiday rotation. The position offers a pay range of $39–$48 per hour, a $10,000 sign‑on bonus, and an additional $1.25 per hour for weekend and late‑night work.

The facility is GSS MN Brainerd Bethany, located at 804 Wright St, Brainerd, MN 56401.

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse is responsible for utilizing the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to provide individualized nursing care to residents. The RN collaborates with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues, including providers, to plan, implement, and evaluate care. Duties include competency in scope of practice, coordination of care, resident assessment and education, preventive and therapeutic nursing interventions, and management of patient care needs.

The RN may serve as charge nurse, delegating tasks to licensed personnel and unlicensed assistants in accordance with job descriptions, skill level, and competence.

Qualifications

Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program (e.g., CCNE, ACEN, NLN CNEA). Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred. Must hold an unencumbered RN license issued by the State Board of Nursing where practice occurs; multistate licensure under the Nurse Licensure Compact acceptable. Follow and maintain department‑specific competencies and certifications.
