CHI Lakewood Healthis is actively recruiting an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our well established hospital in Baudette, Minnesota. We serve residents from four counties, neighboring Canada, and tourists year‑round. We offer a full range of services including 24/7/365 emergency care, hospitalist program, testing, surgery, outpatient primary care, a care center, rehabilitation, and more. This position supports our busy ER‑Hospitalist program.
EssentialAreas of Responsibility
- Provide care to patients of all ages — children to geriatrics
- Emergency Room consults, triage and medical care
- Round, admit and manage health needs of patients with a significant range of complex and comorbid disease conditions
- Manage all inpatient care and provide prompt attention to all patients admitted to the hospital, including diagnosis, treatment, and performance of medical procedures within your scope of practice
- Collaborate and coordinate patient care with physicians, nursing, healthcare personnel, and care team members for patients in the hospital and ER
- Apply quality and process improvement practices to make the hospital safer and improve patient outcomes
- Work 24‑hour shifts (10–12 hours on‑site, remainder on call)
