American Traveler is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift position requiring an active MN RN license and 2+ years of L&D experience.

• Labor and Delivery unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00
• 13-week assignment length
• Meditech charting system used

• Active RN license with the Minnesota Board of Nursing required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
• NRP certification required
• Basic Electronic Fetal Monitoring certification required
• Workplace Violence education required
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
• Meditech EMR experience required

• Care settings may include Antepartum, Labor & Delivery, LDRP, Level I Nursery, and Mother/Baby units
• Responsibilities include fetal monitoring, neonatal resuscitation, and postpartum care
• Administer medications such as Pitocin, Magnesium Sulfate, and antihypertensives as needed
• Assist with vaginal deliveries and recovery from C-sections
• Provide care for high-risk conditions including pre-eclampsia, placenta previa, and postpartum hemorrhage
• Support pain management including epidural and general anesthesia administration
• STABLE certification preferred
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travelers
• First-time travelers are not required for consideration
• No set policy restricting return staff
