As a True Friends Prep Cook, you'll play an important role in creating a positive dining experience for campers, guests, and staff. You'll help prepare meals, assist with a variety of food‑service tasks, and maintain a clean kitchen environment. This hands‑on, team‑oriented role is rewarding, allowing you to contribute to the success of our camp and the enjoyment of all our guests.
Basepay range
$15.00/hr - $15.00/hr
SchedulePart‑time, year‑round, weekday/weekend, day/night shift
Pay$14.60 p/hr.

- Prepare, cook, bake, and serve meals in alignment with menus, recipes, and production requirements
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in kitchen and dining areas
- Clear, wash, dry, and properly store dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Operate and maintain the commercial dishwasher
- Set up and reset the dining area for meal services
- Assist with kitchen and food service operations as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Must be able to pass an organizational background study
- Minimum age of 16 years or older
- Food service experience is preferred
- Desire to learn and gain experiences in a culinary environment
- Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- High school diploma preferred
- Physical demands:
- Ability to see, hear, and communicate verbally
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to walk, sit, stand, bend, reach, and move continually during working hours
- Ability to feel objects and use fingers to operate tools and controls
