COTECares

Cote Cares is our “Way of Life”. We believe in enriching the lives of those within our community and this inspires us to create transformative experiences and exceptional memories.

Our associate journey begins and ends with a positive work environment and experience for our team. Whether it be through community involvement or internally working with each other, Cote Cares expresses our world and what we want it to be.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up your section for service including pre-setting tables, water, bread, and any required condiments and supplies, ensuring everything is guest-ready before doors open.
  • Greet guests warmly, guide them through the menu, and make confident food and beverage recommendations based on their preferences and dietary needs.
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of all menu items, ingredients, preparation methods, allergens, and daily specials and communicate them clearly and engagingly to guests.
  • Serve courses promptly and efficiently, maintaining proper pace of service and checking in with guests throughout the meal.
  • Stay attentive to your section, proactively refilling drinks, clearing plates, and anticipating needs before guests have to ask.
  • Process orders and payments accurately using the point-of-sale system.
  • Resolve guest concerns quickly and professionally; communicate any issues to your outlet supervisor or manager immediately.
  • Complete closing duties and full breakdown of tables, functions, and events as assigned — including resetting for the next service.
  • Maintain a broad knowledge of the resort's amenities, outlets, and surrounding area to confidently assist guests with questions.
  • Support the team with additional tasks as needed; great service is a team effort.
  • This is a resort hospitality role; availability on weekends, holidays, and extended hours during peak seasons is required.

What you bring:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older; required, as this role involves the service of alcohol and wine.
  • Prior serving experience in a restaurant, resort, or hospitality setting preferred; a genuine passion for guest service is what matters most.
  • Working knowledge of food and beverage service, including basic wine knowledge and food and wine pairing fundamentals.
  • Strong communication skills; you're personable, professional, and adapt your style to each guest.
  • The ability to stay organized, prioritize, and stay composed when the dining room gets busy.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems is a plus.
  • Physical stamina to stand and walk for 6–7 hours, climb stairs, reach, bend, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.

You’ll be part of a team that genuinely invests in its people. Cote Cares isn't a tagline, it's how we show up for each other every day. You'll have the tools, support, and team culture to do your best work, with real opportunity to grow your career across the entire Cote Hospitality organization.
