SUPERVISOR Director of Student Affairs and Activities STIPEND $1,763 - $2,110 (DOQ) JOB SUMMARY

The School Store Manager directs and coordinates the operation of the district's school apparel, gear, and merchandise store. The position manages merchandise inventory, sales, customer service, and store staffing to support school spirit and provide students, families, staff, and community members with access to school merchandise. Work is performed under the direction of the Director of Student Affairs and Activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.

Maintains accurate inventory of school apparel, gear, and merchandise, including item types, sizes, quantities, and prices. Monitors stock levels and coordinates ordering and restocking with the Director of Student Affairs and Activities, and approved vendors in accordance with district purchasing procedures.

Coordinates store hours and merchandise sales at school events with the Director. Organizes merchandise displays, maintains current pricing, and communicates store availability and product offerings through approved district channels.

Oversees school store cash control and sales records. Processes cash and electronic payments, reconciles receipts and inventory, and submits sales proceeds and financial documentation in accordance with district procedures.

Maintains a clean, organized, and secure school store and merchandise storage area.

Assists customers with product availability, sizing, orders, and merchandise questions, and coordinates order distribution and approved returns or exchanges.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience in retail sales, merchandising, inventory management, or cash handling.

Ability to use a computer, spreadsheets, and sales or payment systems.

Possession of a valid state driver's license.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Tasks involve the ability to exert moderate but not constant physical effort, typically involving some combination of climbing and balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling objects and materials of moderate weight, twelve to fifty pounds
