Description
Position Summary:The Installation Technician supports projects across farm locations by installing, repairing, and maintaining equipment. This role requires flexibility, safe work practices, and a willingness to assist where needed.
Key Responsibilities:- Travel between farm sites to complete assigned projects
- Install, replace, and maintain equipment (egg collectors, manure dryers, belts, scrapers, and related systems)
- Operate equipment such as forklifts, skid loaders, boom lifts, and telehandlers
- Keep work areas clean and organized and follow all safety rules and procedures
- Follow biosecurity and PPE requirements at all locations
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Work well independently and as part of a team
- Follow instructions and complete work accurately
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Ability to operate a forklift and/or pallet jack safely and effectively
- Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors
- Basic experience with power tools; mechanical aptitude preferred
- Reliable transportation for frequent travel between sites
- Willing to work overtime when needed
