NASDA Part-time Field Enumerator - Pope County

We are looking for part‑time field enumerators to support agricultural producers by collecting accurate data. Applicants should have basic mathematical skills, prior experience in sales or agriculture, and can communicate with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities include:

• Interviewing agricultural operations in person and over the telephone.
• Conducting crop counts in designated fields.
• Entering data from operators into the system in a timely manner.
• Reporting daily progress, time, and mileage.
• Participating in comprehensive training for specific studies.

Qualifications:

• Private workspace with functional telephone.
• Personal vehicle for travel (up to 250 miles quarterly).
• Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Proficiency in computer systems and/or iPads.
• Accuracy in examining crop status in corn or soybean fields.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 40 lbs., walk up to 100 yards on uneven ground.
• Background check required.

We offer on‑the‑job training, flexibility, opportunities for professional advancement, and start pay of $17.75 per hour plus mileage reimbursement and supplies.
