Job Description & How to Apply Below
Position: (Senior) Product Engineer (w/m/d)
Location: New Germany

About the Role

You'll design and build AI interaction models for users encountering these tools for the first time in their workflows. Working closely with our Product Designer, you'll own features end-to-end - from concept through production - ensuring that real users (like an overworked operations manager at a manufacturing company) can discover, understand, and use them without explanation. This role sits at the intersection of product thinking and engineering, where your success is measured not by whether a feature works, but whether it solves the actual problem.

What

You'll Do
  • Build novel AI interaction patterns and user experiences where best practices don't yet exist.
  • Co-design features from scratch or drive them end-to-end, owning the complete user experience alongside implementation.
  • Design information architecture, user flows, copy, and error states as integral parts of the feature, not afterthoughts.
  • Think from the user's perspective: validate that solutions address real problems, are discoverable, and work intuitively without guidance.
  • Sweat the details - spacing, loading states, microcopy - and act on them rather than letting them slide.
  • Share context and reasoning with your team, surface trade-offs, and ask questions that make the engineers around you better.
What We're Looking For
  • 3+ years building full-stack features in production with React and Type Script on the frontend and backend logic and data modeling on the server side.
  • Proven ownership of complete user experiences for features, including information architecture, user flows, copy, and error states.
  • A user-first mindset: you validate that solutions actually solve problems and are intuitive without explanation.
  • Attention to detail paired with the discipline to act on it - you don't let small UX issues slide.
  • Strong communication skills; you contextualize decisions, name trade-offs, and ask clarifying questions that elevate your team.
