Base pay range: $18.85/hr - $30.10/hr

Summary:

Want to make a difference in your local community? Join CHS, Inc as a Custom Applicator / Operations Specialist in Hallock, MN. This role involves working independently as a Custom Applicator with responsibilities in product application and field operations.

• Create relationships with local farmers to understand their chemical and fertilizer needs.
• Operate a sprayer/airflow machine, load and apply products safely, accurately and efficiently.
• Handle machinery and perform routine equipment maintenance.
• Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and around the plant; assist with loading and unloading trucks and trains; maintain a clean work area.
• Load and unload agricultural inputs from railcars and trucks using appropriate equipment; may include bulk and packaged materials.
• PURPOSE:
  
  assist with product delivery to customers as needed; perform general labor tasks, grounds maintenance, equipment inspection and record keeping.
• Adhere to safety, DOT and company requirements; follow all pre-employment screenings as required.

• 1+ year of experience in Agriculture Production, Operations, and/or Agricultural Application.
• Must meet minimum age requirement.

• Must meet DOT and Company requirements; ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Ability to operate machinery such as loaders, conveyors, tractors, and track mobile; ability to work additional hours as needed.
• High School diploma or GED preferred; CDL with Hazmat endorsement or ability to obtain one preferred.
• Applicator’s license, chemical application education and experience, forklift certification, and farming background preferred.
• Pre-employment screening may be required (drug, criminal, motor vehicle, physical requirements, and FMCSA Clearinghouse).

• Ability to lift and load up to 75 lbs.
