Labourer​/Forklift Operator – Clontarf

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Labourer / Forklift Operator to join a busy warehouse and production team. This is an ongoing opportunity with consistent weekday hours and the potential to secure permanent employment for the right person.

• $35.05 per hour casual rate

• Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 3:10pm

You will play an important role in keeping stock moving efficiently between warehouse, powder coating and assembly departments.

Your duties will include:

• Operating a forklift to move stock, including metal bars stored in crates, between departments
• Moving materials from racking to powder coating, assembly and back to the warehouse
• Picking and packing orders and matching labels against stock
• Loading and unloading stock from racking, using a combination of forklift operation and manual handling
• Manually handling metal bars, averaging approximately 30 bars per day
• Putting stock away and maintaining organised storage areas
• Conducting inventory and stock checks
• Understanding and applying safe load restraint practices
• Following workplace health and safety procedures at all times

This role involves regular manual handling and physical work, alongside forklift operation.

• A current LF Forklift Licence (ESSENTIAL)
• Previous warehouse experience, preferred
• Good physical fitness and the ability to undertake manual handling duties
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A reliable attitude and commitment to workplace safety
• An understanding of load restraints and safe material handling
• The ability to pass a drug and alcohol screening
