Location:

9700 HEALTH CARE LANE, Minnetonka, MN 55343. Hybrid schedule: 4 days per week onsite.

Full time, 40 hours per week, Monday‑Friday, flexible 8:00 am‑5:00 pm CST, occasional overtime. On‑site job training.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Educate external customers/payers on payment options, billing information.
  • Inform customers/payers of billing problems and resolution.
  • Contact external customers/payers about outstanding balances.
  • Collaborate with internal partners and external customers/payers to resolve issues.
  • Provide requested reports and documents (invoices, payment histories).
  • Use data from billing sub‑ledger to report receivables.
  • Collect and analyze key indicators impacting receivables.
  • Perform ad‑hoc reporting on variables to minimize exposure.
  • Break out receivables in categories to meet reporting requirements.
  • Identify high‑risk areas for business partners.
  • Work with customers, brokers, and third‑party administrators to resolve escalated accounts receivable issues.
  • Work with business partners to resolve accounts receivable balances.
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma / GED or equivalent work experience.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • 2+ years experience in accounts receivable.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel (sorting/filtering, formulas) and Word.
  • Ability to work full‑time Monday‑Friday, flexible schedule, occasional overtime.
Telecommuting Requirements
  • Reside within commutable distance to the office.
  • Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure.
  • Dedicated work area separated from other living areas, providing privacy.
  • Must live in a location with United Health Group‑approved high‑speed internet or existing high‑speed service.
Soft Skills
  • Effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Proficiency in written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to work seamlessly with diverse team members across functions.
  • All remote employees must adhere to United Health Group's Telecommuter Policy.

Pay: $20.00–$35.72 per hour, based on local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, and other factors.
