Position OverviewAs a Tax Senior, you will play a pivotal role in providing tax services, including preparation, planning, and advisory, to a diverse client base. Key Responsibilities- Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns.
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize client liabilities.
- Provide proactive advice on tax implications of business decisions and transactions.
- Research and resolve complex tax issues.
- Mentor and supervise junior staff, providing guidance and training.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to deliver comprehensive client solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
- CPA certification or in progress.
- Minimum of 3 years of public accounting experience with a focus on tax.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws.
- Proficiency in tax preparation software; experience with Quick Books is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Salary Range: $75,000 – $100,000, commensurate with experience.
