File Clerk Position

We are looking for a dependable File Clerk to support a contract assignment with a organization in Minnetonka, Minnesota. This position focuses on organizing, reviewing, and digitizing large volumes of paper records while helping maintain accurate document tracking. The role is well suited for someone who is comfortable with repetitive administrative work, pays close attention to detail, and can work efficiently in an onsite environment.

Responsibilities:

• Convert paper records into digital files by preparing, scanning, and indexing documents for organized storage
• Review documents carefully to identify customer information and confirm records align with internal systems
• Sort physical files and determine whether materials should be retained, digitized, or prepared for secure shredding
• Enter and update tracking details in spreadsheets to maintain accurate progress reporting and file status
• Handle file boxes and paper archives in a basement storage setting while keeping materials organized and accessible
• Follow established procedures during training and apply document-handling standards consistently throughout the assignment
• Support ongoing records cleanup efforts related to acquired banking documents and help keep the project on schedule
