The Director, Vendor Integration will lead the integration of vendors following the acquisition of certain contracts and assets of Ucare, ensuring alignment with Medica's Enterprise Sourcing & Procurement (ES&P) framework. This role will drive vendor consolidation, compliance, risk mitigation, and performance optimization through structured processes, governance, and category management principles.
This role will involve close collaboration across the Enterprise Sourcing & Vendor Management Team, along with various departments such as IT, finance, and operations, at both Medica and UCare to ensure alignment with business objectives and member experience. Performs other duties as assigned.
Key Accountabilities- Integration Strategy & Governance
- Develop and execute vendor integration plans consistent with Medica's sourcing governance pillars and continuity of coverage for UCare members
- Validate vendor overlap and drive consolidation opportunities to reduce duplicative spend and strengthen performance
- Ensure integration drives toward Medica's objectives for cost control, risk mitigation, and quality delivery
- Oversee vendor onboarding, data migration, and alignment of objectives for vendors Medica will retain, ensuring continuity of services
- Monitor contractual service level agreements to ensure that vendors meet ongoing business needs; address performance issues with vendors and arrange for resolution and restitution
- Implement and report on KPIs aligned with ES&P success metrics and provide executive updates on integration progress. Maintain transparency into vendor performance and renewal timelines
- Transition Services Agreement (TSA) Management
- Oversee and serve as the primary accountable owner for Transition Services Agreement (TSA) execution during post-acquisition transition
- Monitor compliance with SLAs, performance guarantees, and cost structures outlined in TSA exhibits
- Coordinate with Finance to validate TSA invoices, timelines, and billing accuracy
- Facilitate communication between vendors, business owners, and transition work groups to resolve TSA-related issues promptly
- Provide oversight reporting on TSA milestones, vendor performance, and risk mitigation during the transition period
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Legal, Finance, IT, and Category and Contract Managers to harmonize contracts and ensure compliance with Medica's Enterprise Procurement Policy
- Facilitate knowledge transfer and change management across impacted business units. Clearly and timely communicate risks and issues to Leadership
- Develop and define processes to ensure effectiveness of integration strategies and drive continuous improvement
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or equivalent experience in related field. Advanced degree preferred
- 10 years of experience beyond degree in procurement, vendor management, sourcing, operations, M&A, or related experience required, with experience in post-merger integration strongly preferred
- Strong analytical and project management skills; familiarity with procurement technology platforms

This position is an Office role, which requires an employee to work onsite at our Minnetonka, MN office, on average, 3 days per week.
The full salary grade for this position is $127,800 - $219,000. While the full salary grade is provided, the typical hiring salary range for this role is expected to be between $127,800 - $191,625. Annual salary range placement will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, applicable certifications and/or licensure, the position's scope and responsibility, internal pay equity and external market salary data.
In addition to base compensation, this position may be eligible for incentive plan compensation in addition to base salary.
