AssignmentMonday to Friday 11am-5:30pm
Wages and BenefitsStarting at $21.94 per hour. Rates can be found in Appendix
B.
Medical and dental benefit eligible.
Job Responsibilities- Provides support in by working one‑on‑one with a student identified as having difficulty participating in daily activities.
- Assist student with necessary supervision during transitions, large and small group activities, and unstructured play.
- Model appropriate intervention strategies.
- Work collaboratively with the lead teacher and other staff in the team to ensure the safety and success of all children.
- Experience working with children with special needs or behavior challenges
- Proven positive human relations skills with adults and students
- Demonstrated ability to take direction and work as a team member
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative
- Evidence of friendly, outgoing personality
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality
- Proven record of punctuality and responsibility
- Experience supporting student instruction in the classroom preferred
Medium Work:
Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
