Pay starting at $16.32 for 16+ and $12.18 for 15 or younger. Part-time, year-round. Flexible schedule includes afternoon, evening, and Saturday classes (fall classes start September 11).
Not benefit eligible.
Primary Objective of PositionAssist in providing instruction and coaching services in a high-quality, growing gymnastics program for children ages 3 through 18, including preschool tumbling, beginner through intermediate, and MAGA competition teams.
Job Responsibilities- Assist in coaching various skill levels and ages on floor, beam, vault, and bars; supervise participants.
- Help all children to develop to their full potential.
- Provide instruction according to the skills identified per class and feedback for improvement.
- Follow program curriculum, goals, and guidelines.
- Ensure that all participants follow Minnetonka School District guidelines and code of conduct.
- Participate in coach training sessions.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Experience in gymnastics.
- Evidence of successful coaching experience, ability to teach fundamental gymnastics skills, and knowledge of spotting skills.
- Positive, enthusiastic, respectful attitude.
- Ability to relate well to children and teens as well as parents.
- Ability to work in a collaborative coaching atmosphere.
- Commitment to program’s high standards.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
