Data Engineering Lead (Minnetonka, MN | 6–8 years of experience)
We’re looking for an experienced Data Engineering Lead to drive our data platform initiatives and lead the migration of legacy systems to Google Cloud Platform.
Responsibilities:
- Broad technical expertise in data engineering:
Hadoop, Hive, Spark/Scala, Kafka streaming, GCP, Java, Tensor Flow, instrumentation/telemetry. - Migrate legacy applications to public cloud.
- Lead and mentor teams in design, problem‑solving, root‑cause analysis, and post‑mortems.
- Drive business‑critical, data‑intensive applications.
- Provide technical architecture, design, and direction for scrum teams.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve technical problems.
- Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve process efficiency.
Technical
Skills:
- Data engineering expertise:
Hadoop, Hive, Spark/Scala, Kafka streaming. - GCP experience with Java, Tensor Flow, instrumentation/telemetry.
- Scrum and Dev Ops fundamentals.
