A well-established Smart Building and IoT technology provider is seeking a skilled
Controls Project Manager to oversee complex building automation, energy efficiency, and intelligent infrastructure projects for Fortune 500 clients across North America. This role is based out of the Minnetonka, MN headquarters and follows a hybrid model(4 days on-site, 1 remote).

• Title: Controls Project Manager – Smart Building Controls
• Location: Minnetonka, MN (Hybrid: 4 days in-office, 1 day remote)
• Compensation: $90,000 – $125,000 (DOE)
• Schedule: Primarily on-site with minimal travel (up to 10%)

• Manage controls and automation projects from kickoff through commissioning and closeout.
• Handle schedules, budgets, labor planning, and all related project documentation.
• Coordinate engineering teams, subcontractors, OEM vendors, and customer stakeholders.
• Oversee material purchasing, logistics, and field installation workflows.
• Monitor financial tracking, change orders, margin performance, and forecasting.
• Lead client meetings, resolve project issues, and transition completed work to service teams.
• Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards, scope, and timelines.

• Experience in BAS, HVAC controls, or connected smart building systems.
• Strong understanding of project coordination, scheduling, and construction financials.
• Excellent leadership and customer communication abilities.
• Comfortable with project management platforms and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Business preferred.

• Competitive Base Salary: $90,000 – $125,000 (DOE)
