Job SummaryThe IT Support Associate is a hands‑on, service‑focused role that provides first‑line support for both EMR and basic technology needs across the organization. This position assists staff with system navigation, user support, account setup, basic troubleshooting, and EMR training. Ideal for a trainable, tech‑comfortable individual who enjoys helping others, explaining technology in simple terms, and learning healthcare systems.
Technology Support- Provide first‑level support for computers, printers, phones, scanners, and basic software troubleshooting.
- Assist with user account setup, password resets, and basic security access.
- Use the internal ticketing system to document, track, and resolve support requests.
- Set up and deploy workstations, laptops, monitors, and peripheral devices.
- Escalate complex issues to IT or EMR support staff and/or leadership, as appropriate.
- Provide first‑line support for EMR‑related questions, access issues, and basic navigation.
- Assist staff in using EMR tools and features effectively, based on established workflows and training.
- Help identify recurring issues or support needs.
- Maintain awareness of EMR updates, user guidance, and help resources.
- Assist with new hire onboarding for EMR login, navigation, and basic system use.
- Provide basic refresher support and help users understand correct procedures.
- Help develop and maintain simple training materials, screenshots, tip sheets, and user guides.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support staff, technology needs, and organizational priorities.
- 2‑year IT related associates degree or IT certificates required.
- High school graduate or GED required.
Hours vary between 8:00am - 5:00pm M-Th, 7:00am-5:00pm M-F.
