Site Improvement Project Manager – Specialized Facilities

Minnetonka, MN | Direct Hire | $90k–$100k

Konik is partnered with a rapidly growing commercial builder seeking a Site Improvement Project Manager to lead fast-paced, small-to-mid-scale facility improvement projects from initial intake through completion. These projects include disaster recovery, planned and unplanned Cap Ex, acquisition rebranding, unit refreshes, and targeted build-outs—most moving from concept to completion in under 90 days.

In this client-facing role, you’ll lead scope development, manage schedules and budgets, coordinate subcontractors, and provide consistent communication across all stakeholders. You’ll work closely with an internal Project Coordinator to track milestones, monitor risks, and ensure each project is executed safely, efficiently, and aligned with expectations. This position is ideal for a detail-driven PM who thrives in a high-velocity environment and enjoys managing multiple concurrent projects.

Site Improvement Project Manager Responsibilities
  • Lead the full lifecycle of site improvement projects—from scope development and budgeting through construction, documentation, and closeout.
  • Facilitate client-facing conversion meetings to establish clear expectations and project alignment.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, permitting, civil/site activities, and light construction scopes to maintain schedule, cost control, and quality standards.
  • Track and report project milestones, performance metrics, invoicing progress, and weekly updates in partnership with the Project Coordinator.
  • Communicate proactively with clients, leadership, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure transparency throughout all project phases.
Site Improvement Project Manager Qualifications
  • Proven project management or construction management experience.
  • Strong communication, organization, and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects with tight timelines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365, Smartsheet, and project tracking tools.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Real Estate, Urban Planning, or related field (preferred).
  • Valid driver’s license; occasional travel required.
