General Manager - North Region

Location:

Minnetonka, MN Salary: $200,000 - $250,000

Position Summary / Objective

The General Manager at Marco Technologies will oversee all aspects of a region within the Print Division, including service delivery, specialist operations, client experience, and P&L management. This role requires strategic collaboration with a matrix sales organization to drive revenue growth while maintaining a relentless focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Essential Functions
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, financial oversight, personnel management, and ensure efficiency in achieving regional goals.
  • Execute operational strategies to optimize client experience (service delivery, project management, installation) and market expansion.
  • Provide recommendations for annual and quarterly strategic plans using data-driven insights.
  • Collaborate with Regional General Managers for holistic employee and customer experience and best practice sharing.
  • Support sales effectiveness and partnership with sales leaders to impact revenue goals.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty across all customer-facing teams.
  • Recruit, mentor, and retain top talent while promoting professional growth and succession planning.
  • Optimize resource allocation, including budget and personnel, to maximize operational efficiency and ROI.
  • Set and monitor KPIs to assess operational effectiveness and identify improvement areas.
  • Collaborate with finance to manage budgets, control costs, and align with company objectives.
  • Ensure service protocols are followed and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and quality.
  • Lead organizational change initiatives, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Encourage innovation and adoption of best practices.
  • Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities to enhance team performance.
  • Provide regular operational performance reports to Print Division leadership.
  • Act in accordance with Marco policies and procedures as per the Employee Handbook.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field (MBA preferred). 8+ years of operations leadership experience, preferably in the print industry.
Required Skills
  • Strong understanding of business operations for print or related industries.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
  • Strong knowledge of print systems and services.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills across departments.
