Kelly Services in partnership with Nissan is currently seeking high skilled individuals to fill Production Technician openings at the Nissan manufacturing plant located in Canton, MS.

Kelly Services is currently searching for a Mechanical Technician Assistant for a prestigious company in Minnetonka, MN. 1st shift - 6 am-2 pm. Wage -  (based on experience). The Mechanical Technician Assistant is a short term position that will be responsible for helping meet daily production needs in regards to the manufacturing of Reverse Osmosis Equipment and Components. This role will support business needs in regards to EHS, quality, on time shipment, and productivity and allows individuals with strong mechanical aptitude to learn additional skills required in the production of equipment.

• Lays out and assembles parts, subassemblies or machines with the aid of diagrams, blueprints, schematics, sketches, prototypes, Bills of Materials (BOM) or detailed verbal instructions.
• Sizes basic parts. Ensures that the correct set and size is used.
• Assist in mechanical assembly of machines.
• Measure/cut and glue pvc piping.
• Reads and interprets blueprints, diagrams, and schematics and must be able to lay out and assemble machines/components based on drawings and detailed verbal instructions.
• Reads and understands shop orders and BOM's.
• Keeps accurate records of time spent on jobs and explains any discrepancies/problems as necessary.
• Follow Safe Work Practices and all environmental, health and safety rules.
• Performs testing of components and crates finished product (pumps and housing).
• Performs any additional duties as assigned by Supervisor, Facilitator, or Lead.

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Demonstrates basic machine tool & measuring skills.
• Learns, understands, and is able to implement all policies, practices and procedures.
• Strong communication skills.
