Printing Machine Operator

• Read and interpret work orders, production tickets, and job specifications.
• Set up, adjust, and operate lamination and bindery equipment to meet production requirements.
• Glue and press sheets together prior to cutting and finishing operations.
• Perform hand bindery functions including collating, kitting, assembling, packaging, and finishing printed materials.
• Operate cutting and trimming equipment to produce finished products to precise dimensions.
• Inspect materials throughout the production process to identify defects and ensure quality standards are met.
• Examine stitched, collated, bound, and unbound products for imperfections, including binding issues, loose pages, damaged materials, and print defects.
• Monitor machine performance and perform basic troubleshooting and adjustments as needed.
• Complete machine setups and changeovers efficiently while maintaining productivity goals.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and quality guidelines.
• Move and handle materials throughout the production process, including frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.

• Experience operating machinery in a manufacturing, production, printing, or bindery environment.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn and operate production equipment.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions and production documents in English.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shift.
• Regular lifting, carrying, and moving materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work around moving mechanical equipment safely.
• Good visual acuity to inspect finished products and identify defects.

This is a Permanent position based out of Minnetonka, MN.

The pay range for this position is $47840.00 - $52000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
