Company Overview

Resolution Pet Brands is a fast-growing branded pet food and treat company. The Company is currently executing a growth strategy and is seeking a Social Content & Commerce Lead to help us build our presence and our business across Tik Tok, Tik Tok Shop, Tik Tok Live, Instagram/Reels and emerging social platforms.

Our products are sold through independent pet stores, specialty retailers, e-commerce and other channels.

We're entrepreneurial, fast-moving and continually developing new products and new ways to reach pet owners.

Position Summary

We’re looking for someone who doesn’t just use social media. We’re looking for someone who understands what makes people stop scrolling, watch, engage, share and ultimately buy.

You will personally create content, experiment constantly, work with creators and affiliates, appear on camera when appropriate, analyze what works and help turn social media into a meaningful revenue channel.

Key Responsibilities

• Create engaging short-form video for Tik Tok, Instagram Reels and other platforms
• Help develop and grow our Tik Tok Shop business
• Develop and participate in Tik Tok Live selling
• Identify trends, sounds, formats and cultural moments our brands can authentically participate in
• Develop concepts, scripts, hooks and creative campaigns
• Be comfortable on camera and potentially become one of the faces of our brands
• Recruit and manage creators, influencers and Tik Tok Shop affiliates
• Build relationships with pet-focused creators and communities
• Coordinate product seeding, affiliate programs and creator campaigns
• Develop and execute UGC strategies
• Engage with followers and build communities around our brands
• Test different creative approaches and rapidly apply what we learn
• Manage social content calendars while remaining flexible enough to capitalize on trends
• Analyze views, watch time, retention, engagement, clicks, conversions and sales
• Help determine which content actually drives business, not merely likes
• Work closely with our marketing, sales, e-commerce and brand teams

Qualifications & Characteristics

You may be a recent graduate, have a few years of experience, or have built an impressive social presence on your own.

We're much more interested in what you can do than how many years you've been doing it.

• Understand Tik Tok and Instagram instinctively
• Love creating short-form video
• Be comfortable shooting and editing content yourself
• Understand what makes a strong opening hook
• Be willing and comfortable appearing on camera
• Understand (or be excited to master) Tik Tok Shop and live commerce
• Have strong instincts about creators, influencers and online communities
• Be interested in both the creative and commercial sides of social media
• Be comfortable with analytics and using data to improve content
• Be curious, entrepreneurial and willing to experiment
• Move quickly without requiring layers of approvals and process

We'd especially like to meet you if you've ever:

• Grown a Tik Tok, Instagram or other social account from scratch
• Created a video that significantly outperformed your normal content
• Sold something through social media
• Worked with creators or influencers
• Built an audience around something you care about
• Experimented with Tik Tok Shop or Tik Tok Live
• Created content people couldn't resist sharing
• Pet industry experience is a plus

Compensation

• Salary range: $65,000–$85,000 (plus performance bonus)
• Compensation will vary based on skills and experience
