Registered Nurse - RN

Opened in 2018, Amira Choice Minnetonka is a 100 unit senior community offering Independent and Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Care Suites. Registered Nurse – RN to join our nursing team, ensuring that the safety and health needs of our senior age assisted living/memory care residents are met at our Minnetonka, MN location. Supported by a Director of Health Services RN, Executive Director, Triage RN, Resident Assistants/Medication Passers, Culinary, Housekeeping, Social Work, and more.

80 hours per pay period, evening shift, every third weekend and holiday rotation, $1/hr evening shift differential.

• Implies new and updates current resident care plan
• Coordinates resident health services with internal/external providers and gets orders as needed
• Handles and supervises timely and accurate medication and treatment administration
• Acts as support to Director of Health Services to fill in as RN on call during scheduled times
• Monitors work and performance of licensed and unlicensed staff

• Current MN RN license or by start date
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers

• Comfortable using Microsoft Windows and electronic charting systems
• Work experience in a patient support role, LPN or RN
• Good written and verbal communication skills to interact with residents, families and physicians or providers
• Ability to work with and have sensitivity to the needs of the geriatric population
