Job Description - Senior Sales Executive (180002X7)
Working as a part of the business development team you will be a key stakeholder in the growth of our business.
You need to be goal focused, aggressively driving sales activity within your attributed remit.
In this position you focus on selling profitable both consulting engagements and Data Software Solutions (enterprise sales) in a SaaS environment.
To be successful you will be using effective sales and marketing techniques. This involves engaging company resources, as appropriate for the customers and prospects, to be responsive to their needs.
You will also have the opportunity to deliver demos to customers and provide technical sales support that will win over new prospects.
Responsibilities- Goal focused individual achieving assigned sales objectives through sales to new customers
- At times, you will be required to drive additional revenue through upsells and cross sales to existing customer base
- Be an effective business, sales and marketing plan for assigned territory in alignment with your sales leader strategies
- Develop an understanding of the territory, marketplace, competitive offerings and other business issues relevant to the position
- Identify sales opportunities through direct prospecting, lead follow up and networking
- Build and manage a rolling pipeline as defined by leadership strategy with opportunities that will close in that calendar year and the following year
- Develop strong consultative relationships with prospective buyers to discover business objectives and strategic imperatives and identify the CWT Solutions Group offerings that are a “fit” for our clients and convey our value proposition
- Manage sales process through qualification, needs analysis, product demonstration, and negotiation to close
- Maintain records and up-to-date client information on all prospects, target accounts, and new clients through the CRM Tool
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure successful proposal process, pricing and transition to project origination
- Represent CWT at key industry trade shows and functions; if needed, engage marketing to develop content and deliver at speaking opportunities that present our brand message and thought leadership
Required Qualifications:
- University degree, BA/BS or equivalent experience
- 5 years successful business-to-business consulting software or web-based solution sales experience, preferably with Travel experience and selling to Procurement departments
- Proven track record of sales success and meeting assigned targets
- Value Based selling knowledge or consultative selling
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office products and related software (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Working knowledge of CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tools
Experience and understanding of software selling

- Demonstrated achievement of contract negotiation and problem solving skills
- Experience and capability of using PowerPoint to articulate a clear value proposition and message to an audience
