Security Officer - Industrial Access Gate

As a Security Officer – Industrial Access Gate in Minooka, IL, you will safeguard clients in manufacturing and industrial settings, interact with visitors and employees, and use computer or tablet technology as part of your daily responsibilities. This Part‑Time position offers flexibility with a schedule that works for you and a claim‑shift platform to explore new roles.

Mon, Thur, Sat – 02:00 PM to 10:00 PM

• Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures and site‑specific policies, and respond to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Monitor access control points to deter unauthorized entry and verify credentials of individuals entering the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to observe and report unusual activity.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities per Allied Universal and client requirements.
• Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors to provide assistance and information.
• Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security‑related issues specific to a manufacturing and industrial environment.

• Comfortable with computer or tablet use (preferred).
• At least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation as per federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screen condition of employment (as permitted by law).
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws; may be required prior to employment.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.
