Position Description

Immediate opening for a NON CDL Yard Jockey at Ryder in Minooka, IL.

Pay: $1100 or more per week. Driver Positions Pay Weekly.

Fleet:
Trucks are 36 months or newer, include 24/7 Roadside Maintenance. Company Drivers fuel trucks at over 800 Maintenance Facilities Nationwide.

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Verifiable driving experience in similar equipment:
  • 9 months experience in the past 3 years, OR
  • 2 years' experience within last 5 years, OR
  • 5 years' experience within last 10 years
• Pass a Ryder drug test
• Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check (drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for last 3 years)
• Pass DOT physical
• Pass yard driver examination
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures

• Safely handle and maneuver tractor trailers on the yard; cannot drive on public roads
• Compliance with safety & DOT regulations, continuous training, and customer service

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal/state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards
• Maintain accurate records and logs
• Maintain accurate move and yard inventory records; other tasks as assigned
