Accounting & Accounts Receivable

Kevin's Plumbing and Heating, Inc. is looking for a dependable, organized, and team-oriented individual to join our office team!

We are a busy, established plumbing and heating company looking for someone with an accounting background who can help manage accounts receivable, handle customer billing, and assist with daily office responsibilities.

We need someone who is comfortable working with numbers, confident communicating with customers, and willing to jump in and help wherever needed. If you enjoy staying busy, solving problems, and working with a team that knows how to work hard and have fun, we'd love to meet you!

• Assist with accounts receivable and customer account management.
• Prepare, process, and send customer invoices.
• Submit invoices through customer billing portals and track submissions.
• Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up on past-due accounts.
• Work in Quick Books Desktop to maintain accurate customer records and financial information.
• Communicate professionally with customers by phone and email regarding invoices, payments, and account questions.
• Research billing discrepancies and help resolve account issues.
• Assist with payment posting, account reconciliations, and other accounting duties.
• Support other office team members and help with daily tasks as needed.

• Previous accounting, bookkeeping, or accounts receivable experience.
• Knowledge of Quick Books Desktop is important.
• Experience with invoicing, billing, and customer accounts.
• Comfortable navigating online customer billing portals.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional phone manner.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a busy office.
• A positive attitude, dependable work habits, and a willingness to help others.
• Someone who works well independently but understands the importance of teamwork.
