Office Clerk

We are looking for an Office Clerk to join our home health & hospice team in a full-time capacity!

Responsibilities:

• File all elements of patient records on a daily basis
• Prepare & receive daily mail
• Maintain current log of interim order and plans of care (POCs) to verify mail and return date to comply with state and federal regulations
• Maintain adequate inventory of medical supplies/items needed to provide appropriate patient care
• Answer telephone lines, respond to message content, and record telephone calls onto Call Log
• Process new patient referral information
• Coordinate & verifiy clinical documentation for input

What you will need:

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Two years data entry, billing, and computer experience, preferably in health care or similar operation
• Word process, personal computer, and business machine knowledge
