GREAT OPPORTUNITY!! IMMEDIATE NEED for MINOT NORTH DAKOTA

Project Manager needs to have self-perform structural concrete experience, experience in Hard money and GC concrete experience.

Specific Responsibilities:
  • Works closely with management to plan and execute projects and ensure their successful completion, prioritizing safety.
  • Plans and supervises all activities including construction methods, sequencing, manpower, materials, equipment, and scheduling.
  • Trains and develops experienced Foremen/Leads in Concrete Structural Construction and mentors crew members.
  • Manages daily construction activities through assigned personnel.
  • Creates and maintains project schedules, monitors critical paths, and reviews milestones with the Project Manager.
  • Communicates site issues, conflicts, schedule, and quality concerns effectively to the Project Manager and General Contractor.
  • Proactively identifies and resolves construction problems in the field.
  • Maintains open communication with subcontractors to support project activities and schedules.
  • Ensures safety protocols are implemented and followed, including Site Safety Plans, JSAs, Daily Activity Planners, and Toolbox Talks.
  • Monitors personnel and subcontractor compliance with safety requirements and evaluates effectiveness, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Participates in safety assessments and incident investigations.
  • Monitors equipment needs, utilization, and maintenance; understands subcontractor scopes and ensures schedule and quality compliance.
  • Works with the General Contractor to ensure work complies with drawings and specifications.
  • Provides input for cost and schedule forecasts.
  • Assists with review of monthly pay requests and change orders.
  • Performs project close-out and ensures timely punch list completion.
  • Participates in business development and estimating activities within core competencies.
  • Performs additional tasks as directed by supervisor.
  • Responsible for personal and co-worker safety.
  • Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Establish effective communication with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors.
  • Work with estimating to initiate cost control and reporting procedures.
  • Implement and oversee project safety programs.
  • Manage project controls and documentation, including reports, RFIs, field orders, and correspondence.
  • Complete pre-award checklists and draft contracts and purchase orders.
  • Set project goals and develop detailed schedules.
  • Coordinate staffing with the Corporate Office.
  • Manage financial aspects, including change orders, payments, and rentals.
  • Monitor construction activities and represent the company at meetings.
  • Participate in post-project evaluations for continuous improvement.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Project Executive.

    • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
    • A strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
