We’re seeking an experienced Safety Specialist to prepare and implement safety programs for construction and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) work. This role is suited to a safety professional with a strong track record supporting major capital improvement projects and active operations.
What you’ll do- Prepare and implement construction and O&M safety programs.
- Develop and implement safety plans aligned with project and contractual requirements.
- Provide formal safety training and support safe work practices across project teams and operations.
- At least 10 years of experience preparing and implementing construction and O&M safety programs.
- At least 2 years of formal, demonstrable safety training experience.
- At least 2 years of full-time experience as a Safety Coordinator or Safety Manager on a completed program that implemented at least $200 million in capital improvements.
- At least 2 years of full-time experience as a Safety Coordinator or Safety Manager for an O&M operation with at least 20 staff
. - Experience preparing and implementing safety plans comparable to the plan required for this engagement.
