CS Productions | Community Media Training Coordinator
CS Productions, through Community Spotlight TV, is a community media program focused on strengthening local engagement, workforce skills, and civic connection in Mountrail County. The program offers TV and film media broadcasting training, field work, and internship opportunities, teaching participants the fundamentals of TV production and filmmaking for a local community news broadcast. Participants gain hands‑on experience in video production, digital literacy, interviewing, editing, and on‑camera communication while creating positive, community‑driven content that highlights local people, organizations, and events.
Through partnerships with groups such as the New Town Chamber and the American Legion, the program provides accessible, real‑world learning experiences that build practical job skills, community pride, and pathways to future employment in media and communications.
Member DutiesThe Community Media Training Coordinator will serve as a Teacher, Technical Advisor, and Editor for CS Productions / Community Spotlight TV. The role supports a TV and film media broadcasting training, fieldwork, and internship program that teaches the fundamentals of TV production and filmmaking for a local community news broadcast. The Member will build organizational capacity by training participants, supporting hands‑on production, and ensuring high‑quality, community‑centered media content.
