Position: Athletic Trainer-Minot State University (680)

As the Sports Medicine Provider for Minot State University, Trinity Health Sports Medicine and MSU Athletics are searching for full‑time Athletic Trainers. Positions with primary assignments for football, soccer, hockey, and basketball are available. The trainer will provide sports medicine services to athletes that include practices, rehabilitation, games, matches, and meets.

The employee is responsible for completing assigned duties as directed for the sports medicine department. The schedule will be arranged by the sports medicine manager and may include athletic training services for the physically active population of the region at the Sports Medicine Clinic or at area athletic events. The athletic trainer will also participate in rehabilitation education programs for Trinity staff, the community, and other organizations in the northwest North Dakota area as well as assist in developing and monitoring quality management activities.

Licenses

and Certifications Required
  • BOC certification
  • Current ND Athletic Training licensure by time of hire
  • CPR certification required within 30 days of hire – must have prior to seeing patients
  • Valid driver’s license or transportation available to assigned events
Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in athletic training or related degree, as required for Board of Certification for Athletic Training

  • May vary according to work assignment
