ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe Electrical Project Manager is responsible for marketing, estimating, project administration, planning, scheduling, and reporting for small to medium-sized electrical construction and maintenance projects. Hunt Electric's Minot group handles Commercial, Healthcare, and Low Voltage projects.
- Maintain existing and develop new customer relationships to secure future business.
- Direct and supervise service technicians, general foremen, foremen, and their crews, ensuring compliance with contracts, union agreements, policies, and procedures.
- Manage projects economically while ensuring customer satisfaction, quality workmanship, and a positive industry image.
- Prepare, process, and maintain files, correspondence, schedules, reports, and billing related to contracts.
- Oversee project planning, including purchasing, engineering, subletting, and installation.
- Collaborate with the team during the bidding process when necessary.
Salary range: $85,500 - $109,250 + discretionary bonus + employee ownership + benefits.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience in the electrical industry.
- Understanding of design/build requirements and contract scope.
- Knowledge of electrical materials, methods, and tools.
- Knowledge of strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership, and coordination.
- Ability to set goals, prioritize, and organize work.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to train, delegate, and coordinate team members including assistant project managers and estimators.
- Work primarily in an office environment with standard office equipment.
- Occasional presence on construction sites, with exposure to mechanical parts, terrain, vibration, and noise, requiring protective gear.
- Frequent sitting; occasional kneeling, reaching, stooping, crouching, or crawling.
- Ability to lift files, open cabinets, and bend or stand as needed; occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
