The Foundation for Agricultural and Rural Resources Management and Sustainability (FARRMS) empowers farmers and strengthens local food systems throughout the state of North Dakota. We offer farmer‑led and farmer‑focused education, peer support, and microlending. We emphasize social, environmental, and economic sustainability and a whole‑farm approach to planning and production. We want to see more farmers on the land, more sustainable farming practices, and more locally grown food and ag products available in North Dakota.

We believe that modeling sustainability means working toward equity and racial justice.

Through the Community Builder Program, the Program Coordinator will support the FARRMS Team and build capacity in marketing and programming. They will assist in farmer communication and outreach, specifically the farmer directory and media archive. They will assist in program development and facilitation, specifically the Farmer Leadership program and educational workshops on organic agriculture.
