The LPN, under the direction and supervision of an RN, is responsible and accountable for the overall health status of the residents, including assessment, evaluation, plan of care, monitoring, and reporting changes to the physician, RN, and family. The LPN may delegate selected nursing activities to CNAs, but retains accountability and responsibility for the overall nursing care. Supervising staff along with the continuous evaluation of resident care needs and implementation of plan of care by direct care or supervision of the CNAs, Environmental Aides, or Ward Secretary.
The LPN assists in the ongoing assessment and data collection of residents assigned to his/her care.

Required:
Current or temporary LPN license in ND or compact LPN licensure. BLS certification is required within the orientation period.
Educational Requirements:LPN program as evidenced by licensure.
Experience Requirements:Previous nursing home experience preferred, but not required.
Special Skills or Training Requirements:Good organizational and interpersonal skills.
