The Security Officer role is a full-time, on-site position located in Minot and Bismarck, ND. Security Officers are responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment by conducting regular patrols, monitoring premises and access points, and observing and reporting suspicious activity. Daily tasks may include enforcing site rules and policies, responding to alarms and incidents, documenting observations in detailed reports, and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services when needed.

The role involves interacting professionally with clients, visitors, and staff, providing assistance when requested, and following established procedures to protect people, property, and information. Security Officers are expected to maintain a high level of awareness, adhere to company standards, and support the agency’s commitment to client satisfaction and safety.

• Demonstrated ability in observation, situational awareness, and incident reporting, with strong attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with clients, visitors, and team members in a professional manner.
• Basic knowledge of security practices, access control, and emergency response procedures; prior security, law enforcement, or military experience is beneficial.
• Capability to remain calm under pressure, make sound decisions, and resolve conflicts while following established protocols.
• Physical ability to perform patrols, stand or walk for extended periods, and respond quickly to incidents as required.
• High level of integrity, reliability, and commitment to confidentiality and client trust.
• Ability to work full-time on-site in Minot and Bismarck, ND, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as operational needs require.
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications (e.g., security officer license, first aid/CPR) are a plus.
