Overview
The Heavy Equipment Operator is required to excavate, move, grade, and/or compact earth under general supervision of a Field Foreman in a safe, effective, and appropriate manner. Routine maintenance and repair to equipment in addition to other duties are also required. Heavy equipment may include trucks, front-end loaders, scrapers, dozers, graders, compactors, snowblowers and other pieces of equipment. The Heavy Equipment Operator must also clean and ensure all equipment is in proper condition.
Position Overview:
Full time;
Salary: DOE.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment to excavate, move, grade, and/or compact earth under the supervision of a Field Foreman.
- Perform routine maintenance and repair on equipment; ensure equipment is clean and in proper operating condition.
- Support safety practices and comply with site requirements during daily operations.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as trucks, front-end loaders, scrapers, dozers, graders, compactors, snowblowers, or similar machines.
- Ability to follow instructions from Field Foreman and work under general supervision.
- Commitment to safe work practices and equipment maintenance.
