ECI is hiring an experienced, safety-focused Driller for a heavy civil geotechnical project in North Dakota.
You'lloperateand maintain drilling equipment on a range of scopes, includingmicropiles, tiebacks, foundation grouting, secant piles, support of excavation, and dewatering systems.
This position is based on a North Dakota jobsite. Applicants must be able to work onlocation in North Dakota for the duration of the project. Travel support is provided (see below).

Site-Specific Training Requirements This jobsite requires all workers to hold the following:
- CPR/First Aid
- OSHA 10
- Confined Space

Responsibilities
- Read plans and specs; execute work according to submittal documents and as directed by theforemanor superintendent.
- Safely and efficientlyoperatedrilling rigs to create holes of varying depths and diameters.
- Set up equipment: assemble components, connect hoses and pipes, and confirm all safety measures are in place before drilling.
- Monitor drilling speed, torque, pressure, and rotation, adjusting as needed for best performance.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Work with engineers and project managers to meet project specifications.
- Keepaccuraterecords of drilling activity, maintenance, and any incidents.
- Follow all safety protocols, use PPE correctly (hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, steel-toe boots), report hazards, andmaintaina clean worksite.
- Must pass background check, andpre-hire and random drug testing.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Driller, including drilling and anchor installations.
- Familiarity with cement grouting procedures.
- Experiencemaintainingdrill equipment and tooling.
- Working knowledge of dual head and duplex rotary drilling, mud rotary, compressed air drilling systems, and limited access drilling.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of drilling equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical instructions.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent;technical drilling training and valid drilling certificates are a plus.
- Physically fit; able to lift 94lbsor more, stand andoperatemachinery for extended periods, and work in all weather conditions.
- Must be a union member or willing to join; reliable transportation required.
Compensation Wages and benefits governed by the current local union labor agreement.
