Responsibilities- Customer Service
:
Provide the first point of contact for customers through helpdesk, phone, email, or support tickets, delivering a friendly and professional experience. - On‑Site Support
:
Travel to client sites to install, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware, building rapport with clients. - Vehicle & Safety
:
Maintain company vehicle and exercise safe driving practices while traveling on‑site. - Ticketing System
:
Work on, resolve, and record all tickets and field service requests using our ticketing system. - Monitoring & Management Tool
:
Review RMM dashboards and apply remediation actions as indicated by our processes. - Project Work
:
Coordinate with senior engineers to deliver project material or support success either on site or remotely, occasionally working after normal business hours. - Communication & Risk
:
Escalate tickets per internal escalation policies and communicate status updates to clients, mitigating potential risks to senior engineers. - Teamwork & SOPs
:
Follow the schedule from the Service Coordinator, daily/weekly recurring tasks, security procedures, and identify opportunities for improvement. - Other duties as required by company executives or direct managers.
- 2+ years of experience as a field technician or helpdesk technician for an MSP/IT support business.
- CompTIA certifications such as A+, Network+, Security+, or Server+ (1 valid, active certification minimum).
- Remote and on‑site troubleshooting of IT issues.
- Great written and oral communication skills.
- Basic to intermediate understanding of AD, DNS, CLI, operating systems, business applications, printing systems, and network systems.
- Intermediate diagnosis skills for end‑user hardware, software, and network device issues.
- Intermediate structured cabling experience (tone & probe, Cat5e/Cat6 termination, patch panel punch down).
- Intermediate VoIP systems experience.
- Intermediate Microsoft 365 Platform experience.
- Advanced experience installing and maintaining networking equipment.
- Advanced experience in clean workstation installations (tidy cable management for end‑user devices).
- Driver’s license.
- Experience with ticketing systems, RMM tools, and PSA software.
- Understanding of OSI model, VLAN technology, NAT configurations.
- 3CX experience.
- Health, Dental, Vision after 90 days.
- PTO, sick leave, and bereavement after 90 days.
- Simple IRA with employee match after 90 days.
- Hourly paid after‑hours support (in addition to your salary).
- Company laptop and use of company vehicles.
- Weekly stocked kitchens at all locations.

Bright Flow Technologies provides company‑paid training for CompTIA and other relevant certifications.
