Summary

Cleans and maintains all areas of the Food service Department according to safety, sanitation and infection control standards.

Complies with internal policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements/standards regarding kitchen safety and sanitation. Cleans and maintains carts and kitchen equipment, using proper techniques and cleaning solutions. Regularly collects and disposes of all food related and recyclable waste/trash. Performs warewashing duties per safety guidelines. May include but is not limited to: dish machine and three compartment pot sink. May transport carts, deliver meal trays, or pick up meal trays from assigned areas.
