Contribute to impactful capital projects as a Senior Project Development Engineer at Irving Oil. Lead project development stages while prioritizing safety and environmental stewardship.
In this senior role, you'll manage front-end loading activities and collaborate with stakeholders. Using your engineering background, you will develop critical project documentation and present findings to various levels of the organization. Your focus will be on delivering innovative, sustainable solutions that align with community needs and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead Front End Loading (FEL) 1 and 2 activities
• Manage stakeholder communication and collaboration effectively
• Develop essential project documents and present them
• Conduct benefits analyses and support business case development
• Facilitate project studies with consultants and engineering teams
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in chemical or mechanical engineering with P.Eng.
• Minimum 5 years refinery support experience
• Over 10 years in Refinery/Oil & Gas
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
