Facility Maintenance Worker at Prairie Health

This part-time, permanent position with 0.5 FTE involves performing essential maintenance and repairs on facility systems. Ideal candidates will have at least one year of experience in a maintenance setting, alongside necessary licenses such as the Fireman Boiler Operator. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently are key for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct general maintenance and repair activities

• Work on grounds and ensure buildings are maintained

• Utilize various tools and equipment properly

• Follow safety protocols in maintenance tasks

• Collaborate to support the Plant Maintenance department

Requirements:

• One year maintenance experience in industrial/commercial setting

• Fireman Boiler Operator certificate is essential

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license required

• Additional Pool or Refrigeration Operator certifications needed

• Effective organizational and communication skills important
