Position: Casual Evening Custodial Role

Join our team as a Casual Evening Custodian, helping ensure cleanliness in public schools during evening hours. Responsibilities include a variety of custodial tasks.

This position involves maintaining cleanliness and security in schools after hours. Duties range from vacuuming and mopping to outdoor maintenance tasks like snow removal and lawn care. This role is part-time and as needed, providing a flexible work schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Vacuum, mop, and sweep school floors thoroughly

• Clean and supply washrooms for user convenience

• Secure school entrances, removing snow and ice

• Perform floor maintenance including polishing and waxing

• Clean windows, lights, and walls regularly

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED preferred

• Applicants with a minimum Grade 10 and two years custodial experience are welcome

• Must be in good physical health for demands of the role

• Compulsory Criminal Record Check including Vulnerable Sector Check required

• Available to work on an as-needed basis
